Cheryl Wilson’s collection of abstract and often highly textured acrylic and mixed media artwork honors the artist’s mother. This personal artwork captures the essence of this beautiful woman’s life while she suffered from Alzheimer’s. The artist strives to offer an authentic artist-to-audience connection with stroke movements and textures. The July 1 reception features wine, hors d’oeuvres and live piano music by Jerrold Allen.
“Remembering Alice” will be on display in the Kathryn Higgins Wing of the Village Gallery from July 1 until July 30.
