Anabela Ferguson – Amazing Restorations
Join us for a demonstration by Anabela Ferguson on restoring old paintings that have become yellowed or browned over time.
Saturday, October 1, at Village Gallery at 11 a.m.
Anabela has also welcomed a few members to bring some older paintings to be used as part of the demonstrations. If interested in bringing an older painting to be worked on please contact Yelena Svecharnik (firstname.lastname@example.org) to confirm availability.
Born and raised in Santiago, Chile, third-generation impressionist Anabela was inspired by her nationally renowned artist grandparents to explore her creative talents. Having immigrated to Northern Virginia almost 40 years ago, Anabela has explored various artistic media, approaches and subjects that she teaches to students of all levels. Besides her creative artworks and skillful framing, she has learned to clean weathered oil paintings, a skill she developed into a business, and will share her technique at the demonstration. If you have old yellow or brown paintings or photographs, please bring them along and prepare to be impressed.
Please come join us and feel free to bring a friend! All artist demonstrations are free and open to the public.
