“For me, art is compulsive; it’s the need to make - to see an idea through.”

“For me, art is compulsive; it’s the need to make - to see an idea through.”

Amanda’s mediums include watercolor, acrylic, sculpture, fiber, and mixed media; she prefers to work with traditional techniques applied to non-traditional materials. Amanda’s primary focus is recreating the look and feel of living, breathing creatures in her art. Whether fantastical or realistic, Amanda’s art primarily revolves around breathing life into artistic interpretations of the natural world. Her pieces draw inspiration from nature and biology diagrams as well as fantasy and science fiction.
