To join:
1. Complete the online Membership Form.
(Note: Returning members must also complete the online membership form for this year.)
2. Pay Membership dues (see payment options below)
3. Print, Sign and Return Exhibition Agreement (see footer for our address). Save a copy for your records.

Regular and Student Rates

  • Annual $50 dues cover membership from September 1 to August 31

  • Student Discount: $30 with a valid college photo ID

    New Members Only: If joining after May 1, receive May through August free

 

What Members Do

What FAL Does

  • Provides a dedicated online artist gallery and store

  • Provides a team-oriented environment

  • Hosts continuing education for artists

  • Enables members to exhibit and sell their art at FAL’s permanent gallery in Fairfax City’s historic Old Town Hall, the Fairfax Regional Library, and more venues

  • Creates opportunities for local artists to educate, lecture, and engage in community outreach

  • Increases public awareness of local artists and their works

  • Create original art to exhibit and sell through FAL

  • Complete Membership Form, pay dues, sign and return Exhibitor Agreement

  • Attend 9 monthly meetings per year (excludes January, July, August)

  • Volunteer 24 hours per year or 16 hours for students

    • must include 4 gallery hours during Old Town Hall Exhibits featuring your art
