Kathleen Stark

Educated in the US, Germany, and Greece, and with over 30 years experience as an artist

Kathleen Stark has been an artist for 30 years. In that time, she has explored many different mediums and combinations to create her artwork. She works in pastel, acrylic, Ink, collage, assemblage, and a mix of many of these. Stark studied fine art and art history at GWU’s The Corcoran School of Art and Design, The University of Hawaii, and Northern Virginia Community College. She also took private art classes in Athens, Greece, and studied women’s art history at the University of Maryland, Frankfurt, Germany.

Kathleen Stark’s work can be seen at The Fairfax Art League’s Old Town Hall Gallery and The Village Gallery in the City of Fairfax. She has also shown her work in many venues around Virginia and D.C.
