His interests in photography were started by his older brother, after he was given a Polaroid camera for the holiday when he was eight years old. Mr. Bell believes in giving back and was associated with the Shooting Back, for the Arts program, where he volunteers his personal time teaching photography and being a big brother with the young adults of Washington, D.C. area. Ever since the Village Gallery closed, members have been feeling that we should reduce our annual membership fee. Finally this week, an unanimous decision was reached to reduce FAL membership fees from $75.00 to $50.00. This will take effect for the 2019-2020 year. For those who have already paid their dues and new members who joined after May 1, we will send a refund of $25.00. Even better, hanging fees are included in the $50.00 membership fees. So what are you waiting for? Come join us. :)

FAL Online Gallery
The FAL online art gallery is finally taking shape. We aim to have a good representation of all our artists.
Membership at FAL provides great volunteer opportunities and benefits. FAL has a permanent gallery at Old Town Hall, Fairfax, where art shows, and receptions for members and the general public are held.
