Quan Xuan was born in Sichuan, China, and moved to Virginia, USA, in 2018. Growing up in the countryside, he worked as an art teacher for three years at 18, then went to university to study art and started an advertising company after graduation.

At 40, he gave up the advertising company and entered the Chuanyin Academy of Fine Arts and Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts to study oil painting.

Since then, he has devoted himself to creating oil paintings.
