I started painting in watercolor at age 45. I attended three workshops from well-known artists that came annually to St. Simons, Isl., GA where I lived at the time.

I moved to Fairfax, VA and joined the Fairfax Art League in September 2017. I started painting in alcohol ink which allowed me to just go crazy with color. I have enjoyed this new medium and I’ve been showing my art at the Old Town Hall, Fairfax, VA. I won an Honorable Mention at the Spotlight on the Arts show in 2018.
